The Complaints
The complaint in this case arose from a previous complaint that the applicant made about the Ministry of Defence Police (“the MDP”), which was subsequently referred to the PIRC to undertake a complaint handling review.
We have reviewed the handling of one complaint, namely that:
in respect of a previous complaint that the applicant made about the MDP, the MDP did not send all of the file documentation to the PIRC to enable them to undertake a full complaint handing review.
MDP’s Decision
The MDP did not uphold the applicant’s complaint.
Our Findings
We have found that the MDP handled the applicant’s complaint to a reasonable standard.
